“Over the years, we have offered our employees various training and staff development opportunities. The consistent feedback we received from the employees was that the training was OK, but the trainer really could not relate to our experiences.
We then contacted IPMI about their on-site training, and from then on, the experience has been positive. IPMI has sent trainers to our site on numerous occasions, focusing on customer service and team building, and each trainer has not only gained our staff’s respect but also made a noticeable impact. The staff consistently asks when the trainers will be back. They appreciate the hands-on personal experience approach, which they find beneficial in dealing with the everyday encounters they experience on the street while performing their jobs.
The City has offered general customer service training sessions for all city employees, but our staff has said the information was basic and cookie-cutter with no substance. They truly benefit from and enjoy the IPMI on-site training.”
