Concepts, Applications, and Case Studies
This guidebook provides an industry-specific working definition of smart transportation and illustrates progress made toward specific and measurable goals through case studies.
Case studies have been chosen for each of the six defined activity pillars and provide details about desired outcomes, challenges faced, resources and logistics, and lessons learned.
The guide will highlight each pillar with a definition and example case study. Each case study will highlight the primary pillar addressed, preliminary and actual goals attained, resources used, and lessons learned. The guide includes a chapter on overall conclusions and findings and additional case study information.
